conjunctions are words used to connect nouns , verbs , adjectives and complete sentences.
A. Use "and" to show agreement:
Ali and Hani go to the same school. (two nouns)
We eat and drink in the dining room. (two verbs)
Liala is tall,thin and pretty. (three adjective)
He went to the bookstore، and he bought a magazine. (sentences)

B. Use "but" to show disagreement :
Rami drives carelessly , but Salim dosen't.
The food is good , but i don't want to eat it.

C.Use "or" to show choices :
You can study at home or you can study at the library.
You can go to Riyadh by train or plane or bus.
You can go to Riyadh by train or plane or bus.
D.Use "so" to draw conclusions :
He's poor , so he can't buy a car.
E.Use "because" to express the reason:
I went to bed early because I was very tired.
F.Use "either","or" to offer one choice out of two:
You can either stay with us or stay at a hotel
(You can't do both).
(You can't do both).
G.Use "neither","nor" to show that two choices do not exist:
You can neither eat nor drink in class.
(Eating and drinking are not allowed ).

H.Use "too" or "so" to combine two positive statements :
Riyadh is large and Jeddah is too.
or
or
Riyadh is large,and so is Jeddah.
Majid speaks English and saleh does too.

I.Use "either" or "neither" to combine two negative statements:
Riyadh is'nt small , and Jeddah is'nt either.

Riyadh is't small.and neither is Jeddah.
or
Riyadh is't small.and neither is Jeddah.
Majid doesn't speak French,and Saleh doesn't either.
or
or
Majid doesn't speak French,and neither does Saleh.
